PSA Project has a long history of hosting Program, Project & Programme Management workshops which have been underpinned by the experience of PSA’s management staff with their proven methodologies and practical software application. We recently delivered three sessions to Project Managers, staff and stakeholders at Development Victoria with over 30 participants from the Melbourne Arts Precinct, State Netball Hockey Centre and Melbourne Park Projects.
The sessions, led by David and Garry from PSA, guided participants through the end to end process for establishing a workable project plan, paying particular attention to the human side of projects, not just the systems that are being used. This includes identifying the stakeholder needs and wants to develop valued outcomes to be achieved. Participants found the sessions to be of great value, with all leaving the session having learned something from it.
With more and more projects being delivered as part of the general business environment, we are finding there is much higher demand for these workshops that allow organisations to upskill their staff. The participants have varying backgrounds, so this is a great opportunity to create a common understanding amongst the team members. Participants also recognise the value in the knowledge that is shared through the experiences of the presenters as well as the practical day to day systems and process that are shared.
A highlight from most of the group was the interactive learning style utilised in the delivery of the workshop combined with the handouts provided, allowing participants to more immediately implement their learning into their current work. PSA offer a range of training/ workshops that cover Program Management, Project Management as well as the use of MS Project, from basic to more advanced training along with customised training to support your needs.
