The Collins Arch, located at 447 Collins Street, adds a striking silhouette to the Melbourne skyline with its iconic skybridge linking the two towers. PSA is proud to have been working closely with the Development Team of CBUS and ISPT over the past 3 years during the construction phase, performing the independent monitoring and reporting role on behalf of the client.
This project was one of Melbourne's largest scale buildings to be completed in the past decade, with an impressive city block footprint, reaching up to 42 storeys and 148m at its highest point. PSA applied their experience from past mixed-use developments as well as their empathy and methods to understand the client and their needs.
Connecting the client's needs with the contractor’s deliverable milestones when monitoring progress enabled the critical areas to be identified for action. This provided the client with greater certainty for their tenant access and their own deliverables, both of which were particularly challenged when industries reacted to the imposition of COVID19 restrictions.
PSA congratulates CBUS and ISPT on the successful project completion and look forward to seeing Collins Arch take its place as one of Melbourne’s destination places with its mix of retail, culinary, and public open spaces aimed to offer up something special to the precinct positioned right in the heart of the city.
