Online Project Management tools to secure your projects
Monitoring your projects' progress throughout
its duration is a common process in schedule management.
Your Project Path provides you with tools to take
the pain out of this process.
(1) The Project
Control page forms the backbone of Your Project
Path, providing access to your projects and PSA's
online implementation tools. Currently these are
Document
Register and Programme Monitor
Document Register
Manage drawings and documents throughout your
project development.
Store document information such as reference
details, predicted start and finish dates and
progress status for all your documents. Clearly
locate each document in a register in categories
and project stages.
(2) As you will
come to expect with PSA online tools, the easy
step through process helps you setup your Register
and personalise it to each individual project
you undertake.

(3) Monitor your documents' progress
by date, allowing the quick reference alert colours
to warn you if your documents are falling behind
schedule.
(4)
Print monitor reports for easy communication of
your project status, or view the register summary
to compare sequential monitor date information.

Programme Task Monitor
The Programme Monitor tool allows you to evaluate
the progress of individual tasks within projects.
Given the % complete information you enter for
a particular monitor date a task status is generated,
in terms of days from scheduled.
(5) The Programme
Main Menu page you access to all the programmes
for a particular project. The simple and fast
layout leads all your approved project users to
your programmes easily.
(6)
Import programmes directly from Microsoft Project
into the Programme monitor as the next step in
your project management.

|

|
(7) Your programme details and
task information is presented in a clear format.
Monitoring your programme is as easy as entering
the monitor date and according task progress percentages.
The status for each task is calculated and shown
in days from scheduled and the quick reference
alert colours give a clear indication of the overall
status. If you choose to include task float information
in your programmes then a late (or critical) status
is also calculated.
(8) Allow
access to your whole project team. When an authorised
project user is using a programme it becomes locked,
any other users that access that programme only
have view-only access at that time. This allows
access for all your team/users, whilst maintaining
data integrity, keeping the information available
and your project team up to date, at all times.
Step 3: YPP administration, permissions and project
sharing....
