Project Description:

The MCG Northern Stands have been transformed into world class facilites to match the Great Southern Stand (also project managed by PSA Project)

• 60% of the ground's seating have been developed into state of the art facilities with a new members stand and additional top quality public areas

• Total seating capacity of around 100,000

• The arena surface reconstruction works, included provisions for the March 2006 Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceromonies and athletics events

PSA's Role:

• Project Planning and Management of the whole of the Project from inception through design,  tender and contract on time achievement

• Providing substantial service to the client and project in regards to the management of programme integration with operations, scope, communications, human resources all on time

• Strategically managing the project delivery to minimise any risks to a successful project delivery in time for the Commonwealth Games

• Providing comprehensive and detailed risk identification, quantification, management and mitigation

• The use of positive contract clauses in the builder’s contract and resolution of time matters
