Paul Steinfort has gained much experience over the years while working on project aid work. He shows that project management can be broken down to a level that can be simply understood and applied, in a range of diverse and challenging situations, where it is needed most.
Recently, PSA have assisted in disaster response and planning for the Christchurch Earthquakes, the Queensland & Victorian Floods, and the Victorian Bushfire recovery efforts.
After the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake Paul spent time in Banda Aceh. He volunteered his time and valuable skills. He was able to share his project management and engineering knowledge with others. Below you will find images and some of the processes applied to various projects.
PSA have worked closely with SurfAid and a whole range of NGO / not for profit groups in Australia, New Zealand and Asia and continue to assist them with their project planning and coordination. SurfAid are a non-profit aid relief organisation that strives to improve the health conditions of people living in secluded regions located across Indonesia. PSA have also worked with a wide range of Aid and Humanitarian goups, mostly in post disaster programs, in Aceh, Pakistan, India
PSA PDI's purpose is to provide effective project and programme management to communities in need, particularly in distressed circumstances, in Australia.
PSA PDI aim to provide direct relief from suffering, distress, misfortune, destitution and helplessness caused by natural or man-made disasters by providing on the ground Project Management in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.
PSA PDI develop and provide essential project and programme tools that clarify and give understanding and enable workable communication of project plans, action, outcomes and what it means to those communities, agencies non-government and government organisations in all range of challenged and high risk circumstances.
PSA PDI will work with professional education staff to enable understanding of Project Management as a life, career and survival skill as well as being a professional and organisational competency. Children, youth, adults, communities and professionals benefit from workable and sensible projects.
