The AIPM’s national publication featured, PSA’s founding Managing Director, Dr Paul Steinfort, discussing the ongoing and critical need for a solid program and project management framework for post-disaster recovery and the needs of the Project Manager.
Pauls experience dates back to 1974 in Darwin, following the devastation that took place from Cyclone Tracy, these learnings have been continuously reflected upon through the decades and the many major project and other post-disaster situation that he has found himself in. The key learning for Project Managers is to learn to listen within their role in stakeholder engagement and the soft skills of the social infrastructure required a for achievement of true project success.
