The third stage of the Melbourne Park redevelopment was launched in 2017 with PSA supporting the program planning, monitoring and control for the next 4 years through to the end of 2021.
With one of the busiest schedules in the world, Melbourne Park and its supporting infrastructure is a challenging environment to complete construction works at the best of times.
This heavy operating schedule requires the development of an effective, practical programme that allows for the various events year-round including the Australian Open. Without an agreed plan the busy precinct would not be able to operate at the highest level required for the world class performers, tenants and the public.
PSA’s extensive Project and Programme Management experience has proven invaluable to the project team. Our ability to draw on over 30 years of working in the sporting precinct of the Melbourne Olympic Park Trust and Melbourne Cricket Ground ensures the program planning is realistic and achievable enabling the stakeholders to have confidence the plan can be delivered to support each Australian Open and the year-round operations.
